Unfortunately, the dreadful weather called off our plans to go treat or tricking, much to my wee one's disappointment! Oh well, there's always next year! TTFN!

For this Itinerary, I came up with 2 art journals and based it on the colour scheme:
Initially, I went for the quote and came up with this page:
However, I wasn't entirely happy with it. And so I did another one based on...
And this was my page:
I admit, I was watching X-Factor while doing my art journals hence that was why it appeared on my page! TTFN!

Played with this collaboration kit entitled Sweet Side Of Life by Mommyish and JM Designs, available at Oscraps.
I made use of Anna Aspnes' Artsy Layered Template No 73 and came up with this page:
My wee one recently had a sponsored walk in his school on the last day of term. Good to be able to document it. TTFN!

For Itinerary #22, I chose the quote and came up with this art journal:
I turned to my all time fav kit called I'm With The Band, a charity collaboration by Deviant Scrap designers and others too. I luv this quote! So true!
For Itinerary #23, I went with the word prompt 'epiphany'. While browsing through my mixed media kits, I came upon this glass box and the face and ended up creating this page:
I still feel that I'm not letting myself go completely when creating my art journals. I see some fantastic ones while surfing and it's so out of this world! Just brilliant work. Gotta let myself loose and just play without restraint! TTFN!

Did a bit more art journaling today and went back to some missing prompts namely #14 & #18.
I went for the quote in doing Itinerary #14. Here's my page:
Had a browse at my mixed media kits to try and use them. There are quite a few kits that have not been used yet!
For Itinerary #18, I went for the word 'quintessential'. Here's my page:
I absolutely adore this particular image! I've used it before. It just gives me ideas! Now onto to a few more itineraries! TTFN!
Renan brought out this collaboration with Lauren Reid called Make It Snappy.
Had a play with it and came up with this page.
I wanted this page to have a touch of whimsical style. Hope I've achieved that! TTFN!

Renne came up with this amazing kit, Gathering, available at Oscraps. It's so beautiful.
I had a little play and also made use of Jen Maddocks Designs' Artisan Favourite Templates:
Here's my page:
Renne created the kit with Thanksgiving in mind but we don't celebrate that event in the UK so I used the kit for something else instead. I missed my chiminea as it broke one day all of a sudden. I guess it couldn't stand the cold in this weather as we kept it outside. We are on the lookout for a new one. TTFN!
The Summer Party kit is in the Oscraps store today. It's not a new kit as it was previously sold at Zig Zag Scrap before but definitely new at Oscraps.
Not played with this kit before so I had a go and came up with this LO:
There is a story behind this page. While in Shanghai, my best friend decided to have a BBQ on Saturday, the night before I was due to leave. So E and I went shopping to get food and we prepared everything, including the satay and the sauce, garlic bread etc. The man of the house cooked it and burnt it and even spilled the wine. To say dinner was tense was an understatement. Fortunately, their wee one kept very silent throughout the tense situation. I later broke the ice by commenting on it and we all had a good laugh over it! Oh well, nothing like a little drama to spice life up! TTFN!

Hubby bought the two boys this massive looking skateboards and took them to the park to try it out. Here's the wee one showing off! TTFN!

I saw this kit, Botanica by Lifescapes in the Oscraps store and had to get it.
It screamed art journal to me and here's my page:
I've been neglecting my other wild side of scrapping so it was good to let go and just create outside the box! TTFN!

What can I say, it's half term! Yay! A week's holiday but unfortunately my eldest don't start his holiday till next week! So looks like it's a quiet time for me and my youngest. Just as well as I need to do a lot of spring clean and sorting out of my stash as I now lost my scrap room (which I don't mind really). You can digi scrap anywhere including on the bed in front of the TV! :)
With a bit of time, I went digi shopping. While browsing the Deviant Scrap store, I came upon this delightful kit, Artistic Halloween Mini Kit by Marta van Eck.
It was way too cute for words and I came up with not one but two art journals:
Did I say I luv Halloween images! I really do! I had so much fun playing with the kit! TTFN!
To mark the opening of her new store, Val has come up with a new kit entitled Happiness, available at Oscraps.
Here's my page made using this kit. Luv the colours in this kit.
These ladies are moms in my son's school. We got together one evening and had a meal at a Spanish restaurant. We sure had a good time! TTFN!
Val C. Designs has finally moved to a new home and it's none other than Oscraps! I'm so happy as I call Oscraps my home as I do hang out there a lot! There are some amazing designers and this month alone, we have 9 new designers! Talk about lots of new kits to play with!!!
Anyway, to mark the move, Val has come up with this offer:
So head over to Val's store for some awesome goodness! TTFN!
