~ Simply Tiffany Studios: New Templates ~

Tiffany Tillman is well-known for her templates. Recently, she came up with some new ones and lucky me got a chance to play with them. First on the list: Layered Looks Pack 1, available at Design House Digital.

Here's my LO using one of the template: 

I rotated the template to fit my photos.

As a page artist for Simply Tiffany Studios, she came out with some gorgeous templates called Sliver Templates and I had a play with them.

~ Boxing Day! ~

Not many countries celebrate Boxing Day. To me, it's another public holiday (heaven knows we seriously need it in this country as we probably have the smallest number of public holidays in Europe!!!) It was another lazy day for us. The boys played with their new toys while I caught up on scrapping. I had a few LOs that needed to be done. 

As part of Simply Tiffany Studios creative team, I was lucky to be enrolled in Tiffany's class Holiday Templates 2011. It was a 25 day class starting from Dec 1 to Dec 25. Picked up some great tips from the class. I had to create some LOs though but it was fun using the templates that she designed. The class came with 2 free kits from Creshens & Paislee Press, both great digi designers. Here's what you get from this class:

The first three were created before the class. The next five were done during Xmas & Boxing Day. They all made use of Tiffany's templates which certainly made scrapping them much faster.  TTFN!

~ Is It Or Is It Not! ~

My boys on the cover of Ikea catalogue. 

How cool is that! Well, I'm the only one owning that particular catalogue! We were there last week and as we walked into the store, a lady invited my boys to be photographed so they could be on the catalogue. They recently renovated the entrance and did a lot of improvement to the Wednesbury store. I guess they were celebrating the changes to the store. There was even a balloon chap about who made a sword balloon for my boys! Anyway, while she was shooting them, I quickly took a snapshot of them as well. 

While surfing the App store, I found this app called My Sketch (free app) which changes photo to sketches. There were a variety of sketches to choose from. Quite like this particular one!

On the creative front, my favourite designer came up with a musical kit! OMG! Exactly what I been longing for! So I got to work as soon as I downloaded it...

A couple of LOs done for challenges...

 Using 4 kits from Design House Digital (DHD) to create this LO. (Name of school in the journaling has been wipe out)

A colour challenge at DHD using a free kit from Agnes Biro and kits from other designers. Found this cute photo of my youngest while looking at my photo album. The title 'Barmy' is a typical Brit slang.

~ Page Artist ~

No kidding! It's official here. I'm part of Simply Tiffany Studios Page Artist Team. In case you're wondering, Tiffany Tillman is a digi designer on Design House Digital and her forte is templates. Saw a CT call and decided to apply and was surprised to receive an email inviting me to join her team. Considering that my digi experience is only a couple of months old, I feel amazing honoured! I'm just starting to embrace the use of templates in digi scrapping. Think templates as sketches except that when it's opened in PS, all you do is drag and drop elements into the various boxes in the template. In my opinion, a great time saver! 

I saw a set of summer templates done by Tiffany and downloaded that... I'll be doing last year's summer vacation pages using them and then churning them into a Photobook. Got a Groupon offer on a Photobook so need to make use of it. 

I'm off to create... TTFN!
