~ Mr Whiskers: Stone Heads ~

Mr Whiskers came up with a new kit today! I take my hat off David, the designer. He comes out with some amazing images. Incidentally, he had 2 new ones recently which I've yet to play with! Anyway, this kit is entitled Stone Heads, available at Deviant Scrap.

This art journal came about rather quickly. Somehow, the stone heads reminded me of the show Night of the Museum, the statue called Dum Dum (something like that). Hence, I gave it a mystical feel to it with a tornado in the backdrop!

I had better head off to bed as I've got an early flight tomorrow to Shanghai. Not gonna bring my Mac (although I know I'll suffer from withdrawal symptoms. I've been digi scrapping so much the last few days, mostly CT assignments). Part of me wanna stay up and watch the Olympic athletics but I know I'm gonna suffer the next day! Darn! TTFN!

~ Mr Whiskers: Midnight Masquerade ~

Deviant Scrap designers came up with a collaboration entitled Midnight Circus. The difference is that kits from the designers can be individually bought. Lucky me got to play with Mr Whiskers' kit, Midnight Masquerade, available at Deviant Scrap.

Today marks the last day of May! Gosh, time has flown rather quickly. Nearly half the year has gone. The weather today was rotten! It has gone cold again. The bane of British weather.

Woke up this morning to a surprising email! Talk about an instant alarm clock! Well, more will be revealed later......TTFN!

I've been a busy bee as I had a lot of kits to play. Mr Whiskers came up with a mini set of Masks, available here at Deviant Scrap. Ohh, I can see it being used in future art journaling!

Mr Whiskers came up with a kit entitled Birdcages. The best part is that it comes with back and front parts of the bird cages thereby saving you the need to do any erasing. So cool!

Mr Whiskers have come out with a new kit entitled Lordlings & Halflings. Don't need to tell you where he got that inspiration from...

 Here's what I've done:

The above art journals are done in 5x7" sizes as eventually I do want to print them out professionally. It's fun to play with the kit as they are so different from the scrapping ones. Kinda make me experiment and explore new areas in the digi arena. TTFN!

My next creation is a Christmas card! Yup, I still do Xmas cards throughout the year. I'm currently on the DT of Christmas Cards All Year 'Round and I do enjoy making Xmas cards!

A new kit by Mr Whiskers, African Mix, available at Deviant Scrap. This kit has so much potential!!!

Here's my effort: 

The hurricane came from Special Effects kit. And the font is actually my handwriting! Turned my handwriting into a font, courtesy of the Digital Art Journaling class that I took! There are software that can do it but I much rather search for fonts on the net than create my own!

I'm not done yet as this kit just came out! Looking forward to playing more with it! TTFN!

Where did time go? It's rushing by so quickly and I feel like I'm left behind!!! Anyway, played with a Dinosaur Safari kit by Mr Whisker, available at Deviant Scrap.

This kit is amazing. There is so much room for creating and I've got ideas floating about... just no time to play!
