It's Day 2 of Growing In Unity week. Well, I went a bit crafty last nite and sewed a pouch for my iPhone. Despite getting a cover for it, I found light scratches and decided to protect it better. I had some spare felt around and made use of one for my project.
Bear in mind that I'm not a sewer! I used to get my mom to do my needlework in school (which I now regret!) but I tried my best.
I stamped the butterfly image (April's store kit) onto a grey felt using Unity's black palette inkpad. This was then cut out. I sew it onto the pink felt and added beads as antennas. Then, I did a blanket stitch to form the cover for my iPhone. I finished it off by adding a handle and lace to the cover.

It's simple but it does serve my purpose. Hopefully this will minimise more scratches on my pink protective cover. I quite enjoyed doing this project. I found it fun to be able to use the stamps for other purposes. Let's see what tomorrow brings... If you fancy winning a Unity single stamp set of your choice, drop me a comment! TTFN!

You are so clever, this is perfect.
I know what you mean, I got a new blackberry not so long ago and it's already so bashed about. Thankfully it bounces well : )
This is just to cute.
So cute and creative! Great use of stamping on fabric!
Super idea--I need to step outside of my paper box--this is FAB! TFS:)

Fab case Audrey. I've got my eye on a pattern to make a case for my phone, just have to justify the £5 to buy it first!!
