~ Black Friday! ~
Well, in the US, it's the day after Thanksgiving which translate to sales galore! We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in the UK but any sales are welcome!
Lots of digital stores are having sales at the moment. Trying my best not to splash too much as I did quite a bit at the Digital Scrapbooking Day sales. Oscraps is offering a free Collaboration kit if you spend US$10 and above.
Oscraps' Collaboration: We Are Family
A LO I did using the kit
The individual designers there are also having individual sales too. Jessica Sprague is offering 20% off classes and 35% off supplies. Got my eye on a particular class!
Anyway, I leave with a LO done today using Anna Aspnes' new stuff!
LO created based on an AnnaLift challenge. Lifted the use of a quote.
I've got tons of autumn kits but no LO done on autumn yet! So here's my take on autumn! Prefer to focus on the colourful nature of early autumn where the leaves are still around! TTFN!

I came across Paislee Press through recommendations from digital friends. Her kits are adorable. I'm lucky to have the chance to play with them and this one is no exception:
This Much: Paislee Press
Here's my LO:
My boys taken by the school photographer last year. The only year both of them were in the same Junior school.
Had fun playing with this kit. This kit is available here. TTFN!

Finally finished off my assignment for Scrap 365. Couldn't wait to dip my hands into some new kits at Oscraps. Created an art journaling page based on the theme of Santa, with a twist:

ArtPlay Palette Weihnachts baum, LoopDaLoop Arrows No1, Winter Frame Transfers No1, Christmas Word Transfers No1, Twiggy No1, Multi Media Santa No1, Artsy Clock No2, Font: Impervious
Certainly had fun creating this page! TTFN!

In the midst of completing an assignment, managed to find time to play with 2 kits by 2 designers. The first one:
Awkward Moments by Creations by Tinamarie
My LO created using the kit.
Here's the second kit:
Gratitude by Jennifer Labre
I went for the subtle colours on this LO.
These kits are now available at Oscraps. You can find Gratitude here and Awkward Moments here. TTFN!

It was laundry day today! Cleared 4 baskets of unfolded clothes (thankless task) and ironed a mountain load of clothes. And despite chucking clothes into the washing machine today, I still have a basket full of clothes to wash! Seriously, where do they come from?!!
Anyway, in the evening while watching I'm A Celebrity, managed to create this LO:
LO done for a Web Inspiration and AnnaLift challenges at the Oscraps. I'm using entirely Anna Aspnes supplies.

Spent the afternoon and evening helping my SIL. She engaged me to help her sort wedding favours, table planner and place card holder etc. Well, it was fun to see it all coming together but it was hard work getting it together. We are due another meet up to finalise everything before the big day!

~ It's Official!~
The cat's out of the bag:
Yup, I'm on the Oscraps Creative Team.... what it means... apart from forum duties, I get to play with all the designers' digital supplies there! OMG! I'm thrilled to bits. It's also a great opportunity to discover other designers too.
I discover the Oscraps forum last month as I've been looking for a digital forum to join. My favourite designer, Anna Aspnes moved there in September and I started looking around there. Then in October, I took part in challenges and slowly made the forum, my home. By chance I came across the CT call announcement in the forum and decided to throw my hat in.
Well, got the email last Wed offering me a position! Talk about shock and disbelief but totally delighted! Well, I certainly look forward to creating now... got an excuse to do it! TTFN!

Haven't had the chance to play as I was doing some housekeeping... the trouble with digital supplies is that they do take up a lot of disk space. So I hunted down an external hard disk and moved my digi supplies over there (my entire iPhoto library of digi supplies). Have to make sure I backed it up regularly now! At least it has freed 50+ GB off my MacBook.
Today, I managed to do a few LOs. I was dying to use my new digi supplies that I bought over the weekend!
I downloaded a kit from the designers of DHD while blog hopping their blogs. An awesome kit with tons of lovely elements!
LO created using a free kit by Jen Allyson of DHD!
Finally, a LO created for 2 challenges at Oscraps, AnnaLift and 'What You Bought' Stash challenges.
Gosh, it feels good to create again! If only there was more than 24 hrs in a day to just create and play!
Oh and I received the most exciting email today! Will reveal later in the week! Just had me smiling from ear to ear! TTFN!

~ Happy Digital Scrapbooking Day! ~
Didn't realise that it existed but hey, it does and there are loads of sales going around! Well, when you have a sale, you gotta take advantage of it! And I did! Stocked up on supplies with my favourite designer, Anna Aspnes at Oscraps! Ongoing is the Hobbycraft show at the NEC but no desire to visit as I'm into digi now. Still, I did spend a fair amount on digi supplies although considerably less than what I would have spent on paper stash!
Anyway, I leave with some digi LOs....
LO done for an AnnaLift Challenge at Oscraps!
Based on a template for a Nov CopyCat challenge at Oscraps!
LO created for a Member Spotlight challenge at Oscraps!
Just messing about with a Rock Star kit by Anna Aspnes. Paying a special tribute to Amy Winehouse!

~ Gem Of A Babe! ~
Well, it was time to say goodbye to my car of nearly 10 years, my Renault Clio Dynamic. It served me well and I had a lot of fun with that car. Best of all, it gave me no hassle nor trouble. It was truly a fab car!
And late today, I picked the keys to my new babe, Kia Soul Shaker. Hubby surprised me last Saturday. He went to the Kia garage and found this gem of a babe which literally ticked all the boxes that I wanted in a car, namely, Bluetooth (for mobile photo), USB port (for my iPhone) and a sunroof (I need it as I feel quite claustrophobic if there isn't one!) And the car came with additional extra like a rear view camera (to aid in reversing!) Bonus! Oh and did I say it sit high, like a 4x4 (another of my likes too)!
Lots of reflection from the lighting above but this was taken at the back of the garage's.
As I said goodbye to my old car, I did shed a few tears... call me a sentimental fool! It was my first car when I moved to the UK so not surprising I was quite attached to it! Anyway, I'm not in a habit of changing cars, so this one will be with me for the next 10 years I guess. It's not brand new but it's barely a year old and has done 5k miles. However, the price was right for what hubs was prepared to pay for it! My dad told me the car would have cost about S$110k (£55k) in Singapore!!! I guess this is one advantage of living in the UK, no COE to pay nor exorbitant price for cars!!! TTFN!

~ 365 Cards: Day 246 ~
This week we are sponsored by Robyn Fetish digital stamps:
Today's challenge is 'Peekaboo'. Basically create a pocket for an image to peek out. Here's my card:
The basket and the bear were two separate images from Robyn Fetish. Kinda merged them in this card.
TTFN!
