~ Closure! ~

Read with sadness about the impending closure of Zig Zag Scrap. I do CT for 2 of the designers there, Pink Reptile Designs and Val C. Designs and it must be a great shock for them and all the other designers there. They do have some good designers with fantastic kits. I can't say that I'm a regular there (just don't have the time) but when they do have special events, I do join in and the community there is a friendly bunch. They will close their doors on 15th October for good. Some designers are having a 30% discount sale at their stores before the closure. TTFN!

~ Pink Reptile Designs: Friends Will Be Friends ~

Mirjam recently released this kit, Friend Will Be Friends, on Zig Zag Scrap but I got a chance to play with it earlier in the year as this kit was featured on Artisan Notebook in July this year. Yup, my page was also in that digital magazine.

Val did a collaboration with BeeDee Design and came up with this wonderful kit called Self Confidence, available at Zig Zag Scrap. Talk about a kit full of digi goodies!

The irony, got a DSLR yet I rely so much on my iPhone camera which sometimes do not take sharp photos, mostly blurry ones! However, doesn't bother me one bit. Memory captured so I do try and scrap it as best as I can!

~ Bird On A Wire: Pink Reptile Designs & Studio 68 ~

Over at Zig Zag Scrap, PRD and Studio 68 is holding some challenges. Never one to miss one, I had a go at challenge 1, using a template given. The theme was to scrap something handmade. Here's my LO: 

Made use of Handmade with Love kit by PRD & Studio 68, another fabulous kit!

I usually made small gifts for my sons' teachers. This year, I made a little box to hold some choccies and tags. I made use of Rucola's Fizzy Pop kit to do the tags. They were certainly well-received! TTFN!

~ Zig Zag Scrap Birthday Challenges! ~

Zig Zig Scrap is celebrating it's 4th birthday. As usual, there are challenges and games to celebrate the events. Not one to miss a challenge, I managed to complete 3 Birthday challenges. 

The Scraplift Chain Challenge. Basically, to scraplift a person's LO from the ZZS gallery. I chose this particular LO. 

The Birthday Memory Challenge. I made use of ZZS July template and scrap my son's birthday.

Finally, the Birthday Scrap Cake Recipe Challenge, based on certain requirements. Pretty restrictive  but I managed!

So good to get back to scrapping after the last hectic week in the school term. It just wore me out and I spent Saturday having a lie-in and chilling out the whole day. Managed to scrap a bit at night! So good to know that I'm off for the next 6 weeks! Yay! TTFN!

~ Pink Reptile Designs: Handmade With Love ~

Mirjam, designer of Pink Reptile Designs teamed up with Studio 68 to produce this amazing kit entitled Handmade with Love, available at Zig Zag Scrap.

I was a little late in producing a LO (blame it on the last week of the school term) but when I finally played with it, wow, I had so much fun. Here's my LO:

There was so much elements in this kit that I simply piled it on! Really fun kit to play with! TTFN!

~ Pink Reptile Designs: Rain Or Shine ~

PRD and Stolen Moments Designs came out with a new collaboration kit entitled 'Rain or Shine', available at Zig Zag Scrap. 

With the kind of weather we are having at the moment in the UK, this kit couldn't have come at the most appropriate time. Here's my LO:

We had hail a few days ago, in mid-May!

On the mundane side, my boys are off to Scouts/Cubs camp this evening. It started to drizzle when we got there and the poor souls had to build their own tents (parents weren't allowed to help). Let's hope they will somehow get some outdoor enjoyment despite the rain! As for hubs & moi, we headed off for an Indian meal before watching the Avengers. Great movie! Nice to be able to go out without worrying about the boys for once! TTFN!
